Description
Description
The 9095C series overfill prevention valve is designed to prevent the overfilling of storage tanks by providing a positive shut-off during a pressurized fill. The valve is installed at the fill port of a storage tank.
For use on clean liquids only.
Standard Features
Shut-off level can be set to within 1¼″ from the top of the tank
Installs on a 4″ schedule 40 NPT male riser connection
Standard drop tubes (Morrison 419) are easily attached with included drop tube adaptor
Field adjustable float can be adjusted up to 5″ for precise shut-off level
Aviation model includes additional float section
Integral anti-siphon function
Full flow to shut-off point
Cushioned shut-off eliminates line shock
Integral pressure relief feature allows for safe uncoupling at the completion of the fill operation
Maximum viscosity of 300 Centistokes
Maximum operating pressure is 100 PSI
Optional Criteria
Minimum 5 PSI flow requirements
Typical flow rate is 175 GPM at 10 PSI pressure drop
A tight fill connection required. Top fill, remote fill, and dry disconnect connections available
*An optional manual test mechanism allows a technician to pull on the test line at any time during the filling process to actuate the float, stop the fill, and verify the valve is working properly.
